T-Shirt Printing
What to consider when printing
When you search for the term t-shirt printing you will find many companies who specialise in this process option 1. beginners who mainly print on a manual press and option 2. professional establishments who use automatics machines. Screenworks Ltd would be found in option 2 as we’re t-shirt printing specialists. Both types of printers are acceptable but have different types of service and quality for the final product, which in most cases is for promotional clothing. You have to ask yourself is the printer using the best quality garments and the correct process for your order.
Garment of Choose
As we have so much experience dealing with various types of customers we understand that their needs can differ. Not every client wants the best quality as it all depends on what there being used for. Cheap t-shirts are mainly for the promotional market whilst the more expensive t-shirt is used for the fashion industry.
Take these 5 steps when choosing the correct t-shirt
Step 1 – What is the t-shirt being used for a one off event or something that’s long lasting?
Step 2 – What garment type would you prefer lightweight or heavyweight?
Step 3 – Does the garment come in multiple colour ways?
Step 4 – Does the garment need to be unisex?
Step 5 – Does the garment need to be organic?
You can find a great range from our online catalogue like the well known fruit of the loom, to specially manufactured organic t-shirts.
Printing process
T-Shirt printing comes in many forms but our method of choice is the traditional way of screen printing. From experience we have found this is still the technique to achieve vibrant crisp colours, 40 degrees washing capabilities without problems and generally a nicer finish. The alternatives are digital transfer and direct to shirt which both have their advantages but can’t compete to screen printing.
We are always looking into these new techniques but currently only offer a minimal service on digital transfers. If you would like to find out about our award winning screen printing service please look through the guide on screen printing or why not talk to one of our dedicated sales team contact us.
Not only a t-shirt printer
You may have read the above and decided this isn’t for you but wait as we haven’t placed all our eggs in one basket as we also specialise in embroidery. Whilst screen printing is our default choose we have discovered some clients prefer embroidery, if you would like more details on this service visit the embroidery page or contact our sales team for further details and costings.
