Winners………of the Printwear & Promotion T-Shirt Printing competition. We are very happy this week as it’s just been announced that we are winners of the Professional screen printing competition of 2010. There was 8 categories to choose from but we felt the special effect screen print and Best combined would suit our design. Our artwork department produced the full colour separation through Quikseps printed on a MHM and the embroidery was produced through Wilcom embroidered on a SWF. Over the last few months we have been experimenting with Wilflex special effects and for this design we used Brittle base and Gloss finish for the Diamonds. Not only were we happy with the winning result we also came runner up in the combined category so the staff at Screenworks Ltd are very proud of their skills within the Screen Printing & Embroidery Industry. T-shirt printing comes in many forms, fashion, advertising, promotional events, corporate wear and many more. Producing a great technical simulated process photographic image onto a t-shirt can be difficult you either use the traditional screen printed technique or the more modern approach digital transfer. Screenworks Ltd have always gone down the traditional root screen printing with many employees having skills from university and knowledge from day to day work over the years. This means that this can be the more difficult decision but does produce a more realistic look and feel when viewing and wearing the garment. Our artwork team have been trained to use a separation programme called quikseps professional which alows them to separate photographic images onto t-shirts. you ask “how do you print a photographic image onto a t-shirts” we would say with difficulty but this is achievable. Colours and halftone dots are what makes the image, The image above “Land Rover” from the company TKS was made up of 6 colours plus a base and even though was printed onto Black we always print black to achieve better detail. The trick is selecting the correct base, adjusting the channels and the producing crisp screens using 90-120 mesh counts and having alot of patience but not to be scared to make adjustments when on press. We are very confident in what we do and are always learning new techniques as every image is approached differently. We offer the service of screen printing onto T-Shirts and are always here to ask advise on designs and would recommend using quikseps professional if they are thinking of getting into separating their images. Why does promotional clothing continue to be one of the most important methods for promoting a company?
The term ‘promotional clothing’ is not simply limited to t-shirts and tops – professional printing and clothing companies should always offer everything from a personalised jacket, to headwear and even kids wear.
More than Meets the Eye
Whilst it’s true that one of the major benefits of promotional clothing is brand awareness, enabling you to hand out free clothing that is of good quality in the hope that it will be worn and the word spread about your company, it’s definitely not the only benefit. In the 21st Century, where technological and predominantly online companies are becoming increasingly popular, the atmosphere in the workplace is becoming more relaxed and personal…
…what says ‘we love and need you’ more than personalised polo shirts for your staff (except for a pay rise!)?
The personal touch element of promotional clothing is one that should not be overlooked – it also extends to clients’. Sending or giving in person a piece of clothing with your company logo on to a client will show them you’re happy to have them, and also provide the chance that they may actually wear it amongst fellow business friends (thus passing on the word, whether they actually mention your company or not). Having a special client wear your logo on a product will help others who notice it perceive that your company is reliable and that they can therefore rely on your services.
Corporate Events
Do you ever go to corporate evens? Perhaps you are planning on going to an exhibition or a tradeshow? It’s imperative that your employees correctly convey your company with professional uniform that will play the role of both brand awareness and corporate identity. Having high quality promotional clothing at such events will enable your company to be spotted easily, – and remembered easily!
Freebies
Initially it may not sound like a good idea; handing out free t-shirts to anyone and everyone at your store/event. Delve deeper and much like giving a piece of clothing to a special client, you will be handing out clothing to customers who as we all do, need clothing, and will therefore promote your brand whenever they wear it! Spread your website on the front or back for further promotion and this piece of promotional clothing could be in use for many years to come.
Cost-effective
As with all advertisement, you want them to be cost-effective – something you can afford and definitely something you can see a high return on investment in. Thankfully promotional clothing is probably the best form of advertisement that any company could do – your products will be visible to a large amount of people for a longer period of time than any other advertisement.
If you’re looking for professional promotion clothing from an experienced company, then look no further than www.screenworks.co.uk. After using these in the past I can vouch for their quality and service.
