Screenworks Ltd | UC804 High Visibilty Bomber Jacket
When you think of screen printing t-shirts the first thing comes to mind is spot colours, CMYK or full simulated process, well these aren’t the only techniques that can be used whenscreen printing. Screenworks Ltd have been slowly introducing some very impressive special effects. There so many to choose from so we have compared a short list of the most commonly used. The most popular is metallic which is plastisol ink but mixed with flicks of metallic, which when viewed in the right lighting conditions gives of a glittering shimmer. Glitter is very popular in the fashion industry or for a bespoke t-shirt, there is also a technique called foil printing, this is very similar but applied via transfer printing a silver or gold foil onto an adhesive applied to the t-shirt.
