Screenworks Ltd attended the Race For Life in Cambridge over the weekend. 6 members of our team were sponsored to walk 5k raising money for the cancer research fund. There were approx 8,000 people also participating dressed up in all kinds of fancy dress, as you can see we have custom T-Shirts printed for the event as this is what we do best. We are looking at running more events to raise more money for the cancer research fund and many more charities, so please come back to see what we’ve been up to over the next few months.

We have finally expanded to our new building, we are now running from two locations with all T-Shirt Printing running from the old location and all Embroidery from the new location next door. The move went really smoothly with the new sales team up and running first thing Tuesday morning after their relaxing Easter break. The machines were transported from one location to another and we’re up and running within hours embroidering all our customers promotional clothing. Screenworks Ltd would proudly like to announce that they have expanded their business. From Friday 2nd April Screenworks Ltd is running its successful Screen Printing and Embroidery service from two locations. Due to the success of our print department we have decided to expanded this service by investing in new screen printing machinery. The new equipment will be situated at our current location whilst the embroidery department has moved next door along with the sales team to our new premises. Now we have two locations to work from, our capacity of work-flow has increased for suit our customers needs. As we mentioned in a past Blog Screenworks Ltd won the T-Shirt Printing Competition back in January. Today the article was printed in the Printwear & Promotions magazine. Both Adam Salter & Simon Tuck within the art department put together the design which was called Cherub. Winners………of the Printwear & Promotion T-Shirt Printing competition. We are very happy this week as it’s just been announced that we are winners of the Professional screen printing competition of 2010. There was 8 categories to choose from but we felt the special effect screen print and Best combined would suit our design. Our artwork department produced the full colour separation through Quikseps printed on a MHM and the embroidery was produced through Wilcom embroidered on a SWF. Over the last few months we have been experimenting with Wilflex special effects and for this design we used Brittle base and Gloss finish for the Diamonds. Not only were we happy with the winning result we also came runner up in the combined category so the staff at Screenworks Ltd are very proud of their skills within the Screen Printing & Embroidery Industry.
